PAMPER YOUR PET WITH LITTLE MASSAGE.!!

How can you not be affected by the sound of pleasure coming from a purring cat as he is stroked , or the moans of happiness as you scratch your dog in the right place?

ONE SPECIFIC BENEFIT OF MASSAGE includes relaxation . when you massage or touch your pet , their heart rate decrease, dramatically . it is good for soothing of tired or sore muscles ,easing pain from surgery or other injuries.
MASSAGE stimulate the release of endorphins, natural chemical which found in the body that relief pain and promote feeling of well being.

DAILY HEAD TO TOE MASSAGE:
1- use oil-sesame or baby oil.
2-start at the tail , firmly squeeze from base of the tail to tip.
3-rub the back of the neck , behind the ears with your forefingers.
4-with your pet facing you, hold your pet`s head in your hand (hold them by the cheeks under the ear)and rock their head from side side.
5-move to an ear massage , starting at the base , finish by using your thumb and forefingers to massage the tip.
6-massage teh tissue around the eye with your thump , and stroke your forefingers down the nose.
7-straddle your pet facing foreword(standing over him): move your hands under the armpits and rub gently , allow your hands slide from armpit to the forelegs.
8-slide your hands down the forelegs (as you did to the tail)with a soft but firm grip all the way down to the paws.
9-gently hold the paws (one at a time) and squeeze gently for few seconds.
repeat this procedures starting from the chest , 2-3 times.
10-still standing over your pet , massage the length of your pet`s back from his neck all along his spine to his tail.
11- turn the opposites direction and massage your pet`s rear , sliding your hands down the hind legs and massaging down to the paws(as you did for the forelegs.
CLOSING A MASSAGE SESSION is much the same as closing an acupressure session . the idea is to provide a stimulating yet relaxing feeling to close the massage session.
  • position your palm in full contact
  • exert light pressure and glide your hand over your pet`s body from front to rear and from top to bottom.
  • start at the neck , move to the shoulder , along the back , over the hips,, down the hocks, and finish at rear paws.

secret 7: HEALING WITH ACUPRESSURE:

Acupressure is closely related to acupuncture , a traditional Chinese medicine.
ACUPRESSURE is very safe . Even if u don`t press on the exact point , coming close to it will provide some relief , definitely u will do no harm.
When performing acupressure , place your thump on the point and press straight down into the body. DO NOT RUB, you must press hard enough to make an indentation  in the tissue , but not cause pain (large digs will require more pressure , smaller dogs less). Hold the press for 30-60 seconds, then release.
FOR EXAMPLE:
ARTHRITIS :
  • SYMPTOMS:
your pet seems generally sore , has difficulty getting up after sleeping,, and has occasional lameness, has trouble jumping or climbing stairs.
  • CAUSES :
because the joint is aging and lose it`s protective covering or cartilage leading to osteoarthritis, sometimes in pet arthritis may be secondary ligament injury.
  • REMEDIES:
-THE ASPIRIN POINT :the BL60 (the outside BL60 and inside K13) of the webbing of the hock joint.
-EAR: the ear is microcosm of the energy pathways in your pet , perform gentle circling motion on the top inside the ear - this stimulate the back legs.
-PALM Acupressure : on the effected joint the easiest way to affect energy flow is to place the palm of your hand over your pet`s painful joint and visualize healing energy flowing into the area.

-WHITE VINEGAR is very effective at removing debris from the ear and killing the yeast
N.B: if your pet has an red ,open wound dnt use this as it will be painful.
-you need to use a soothing topical first (i.e:olive oil Vitamin E). Dilute the vinegar with the water 50:50
, pick up a syringe and fill it with 5 ml vinegar solution per 20lb of body weight and put it on the affected ear (your cat could get 2.5 ml) , then grab the ear where it is attaches to the head (at the ear base), gently squeeze your thump and forefinger together, rubbing the solution deep into the ear canal . Wipe the inside of the ear well with a cotton ball to remove the debris coming from ear canal . Continue doing this for 5-7 day
N.B:  for dogs have recurrent infection do it weekly.

  • HEALING OILS :
it is very special if your pet`s ear are inflamed and it s difficult to touch , you can use a mixture of 1 tablespoon of olive oil  combined with 1 capsule of vitamin E and insert it into your pet ear . Let it soak for 5 mint.,then rub the base of the ear well and wipe out excess debris with cotton ball.
